What age is a Teddy Detective Agency Party suitable for?
This theme works best for children aged 5 to 10 years, with younger children enjoying simple clue trails and older children tackling coded messages and trickier puzzles.
How long should the mystery last?
Aim for 30–45 minutes, leaving plenty of time for food, cake and free play.
How many clues should I include?
Around 8–12 clues usually keeps children engaged without making the hunt feel too long.
What if a clue gets lost?
Keep a master list of all the clues and where they lead so you can gently guide the detectives if they get stuck.
